In the Blue Nile State of Sudan, women have had to walk long distances to get water for their families. Due to civil unrest in the region, a recent influx of refugees and internally displaced people have increased stress on limited resources. Women and children fear for their safety as they go out to collect water. ADRA Canada is providing relief through the establishment of water tanks that provide water sources within the safety of the village.
